She was born November 3, 1924 in Galesburg, IL to H. Chris and Grace Fleharty Wallace. She married Mack A. Glass on October 15, 1944 in Coldbrook, IL. He survives.
Also surviving are three daughters Rhonda (and Don) LeFebvre of Cameron, IL, Beverly Jean (and John) Stamp of Marcellus, MI and Lisa Beth (and Jim) McKenzie of Pekin, IL, two grandchildren and two step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.
She was a homemaker having graduated from Galesburg High School in 1942 and attending Monmouth (IL) College. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she was a former Elder of the Church, Chapter W PEO, Mosaic Club, Coldbrook Women’s Club, Roundtable Club, Bridgeway Board, Pi Beta Phi Sorority and a former member of D.A.R.
Memorial services will be 11:30 AM Thursday April 3, 2003 at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Charles H. Willey officiating. Family will receive friends following the services at the church. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Coldbrook Christian Church or to Bridgeway.

She was born on August 5, 1935 in Abingdon to Lloyd and Frances Geneva Quinn Johnson. She was later adopted by Earl and Dolly Eakle .
Surviving are two daughters, Rosemarie Williams and Dollie Williams both of Galesburg; one son, David Williams of Ina, Il.; three brothers, Elmer “Pezzel” Quinn of Abingdon, Irvin “Reddy” Quinn of Waukegan, Il. and Jim “John” Johnson of Galesburg; two grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, 2 step grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Harold Earl Williams.
She was a carnival worker and traveled the United States with several carnivals. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Galesburg.
Cremation was accorded. A memorial service will be at 1:00 pm Friday at Calvary Baptist Church in Galesburg with Rev. Lewis D. Woods Sr. officiating. There will be no visitation.
Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel in Abingdon in charge of arrangements.

Surviving is one son Rodney (wife Sue) Tracy of Galesburg IL, two step sons Ted (wife Barbara) Bruington of Gulf Shores AL and Gary (wife Alice) Bruington of Galesburg IL, two daughters Connie (husband Bill) Briggs of Rock Island IL, Terry (husband Gary) King of Galesburg IL, one brother Clark Mecum of Gainesville GA, one sister Charlene Anderson of Rochester MN, twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
She worked for the Dentist Dr. C.A. Dayton for 18 years. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Tuesday April 1, 2003 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with Rev. James Ecklund officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM Tuesday at the Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the First Presbyterian Church.

She was born January 27, 1920 in Galesburg, IL to Samuel and Grace (Alexander) Smith. She married Jack S. Lyon in Kahoka, MO on June 20, 1940. He preceded her in death on April 19, 1966.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Lyon of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Dennis (and Holly) Lyon of Madison, WI, a brother, Dale Smith of Galesburg, IL, a sister, Vera Gabel of Galesburg, IL, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother.
She worked as a registered nurse at Galesburg Cottage Hospital and at the former Midwest Manufacturing Company (now Maytag) for 30 years, retiring in 1968. She was a 1938 graduate of Galesburg High School and a 1941 graduate of the Cottage Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of the American Red Cross and the Central Congregational Church.

She was born December 18, 1924 in Galesburg IL to Edward and Elizabeth Thurston Taber. She married Alfred Collopy in Galesburg IL on March 12, 1961. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1980.
Survivors include one son Thomas G. Zefo in St. Louis, MO, one daughter Zoe Zefo in Ft. Wayne IN, two sisters Rilla Guardalabene in Knoxville IL, Beth Spilman in Kingman AZ and two grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter Barbara Allen, one brother, and five sisters.
She worked for Admiral as an assembler for 10 ½ years. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1943. She lived in Galesburg all her life. She was involved with Art for Schools. She was of the Catholic Faith.

She was a homemaker. She worked at City Hall for 5 years. She later worked for the former Kellogg Drake & Company and Gamble Music Company. She was an accompanist for Rotary Noon Club for 17 years. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1924. She was a former member of the Pilot Club, a member of the Woman’s Club, a member of the Grandmothers Club, a member of the Elkettes and a member of the Alums (part of the Newcomer Club). She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

He owned Coffey Furniture since 1986. He graduated from Galesburg High School in 1971. He was a member of the B.P.O.E. #894 for 22 years, he was a member of the Moose Lodge #880 and a member of the Galesburg Press Club.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday April 2, 2003 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with Rev. Tom Heather officiating. There will be additional services by B.P.O.E. #894. Also surviving are her parents Don and Norma Anderson of Rio IL, her grandmother Bernice Anderson of Cambridge IL and grandparents Sam and Virginia Haglund of Orion IL, one son Zachary Abel at home and one daughter Cassie Abel at home, two brothers Nick (wife Connie) Anderson of Dow IL, Chris (wife Sue) Anderson of Seguin TX, and several nieces and nephews.
She was the Office Manager for "M" Farms for seven years. She graduated from ROWVA High School in 1986. She also attended Carl Sandburg College. She has lived in the Rio and Oneida area most her life. She was involved with the Oneida PTO. She coached Girls 3rd and 4th grade Basketball and Boys and Girls T-Ball. She served on the Library Board. She was a member of the Oneida Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir and played in the bell choir.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday April 1, 2003 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with Rev. Carolyn Webber officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday March 31, 2003 at the chapel. Burial will be in Oneida Cemetery. He was born December 28, 1917 in Galesburg, IL to Harry L. and Ethel Johnson Wright. He married Marian V. Youngren on January 3, 1942 in Chicago. She survives.
Also surviving are two cousins: Barbara (and Dean) Anderson of Pearland, TX and Louise Gummerson of Galesburg, IL. He was preceded in death by a sister.
He worked for Standard Oil Company of Indiana for 15 years out of the Chicago office. He then was self-employed as a manufacturing representative for retail stores, retiring in 1977.
He was a 1936 graduate of Galesburg High School and from Brown’s Business College in 1938. He attended Knox College. He lived most of his life in Galesburg except from 1940 to 1945 when he lived in Chicago. He also lived in Peoria for 2 years. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Galesburg. He was also a member of Vesper Masonic Lodge #584 AF & AM in Galesburg where he was a 32nd Degree Mason.
