He was born December 24, 1924 in Galesburg, IL the son of Aaron F. and Florence Mureen Sanford. He married Doreen L. Murk on August 16, 1952 in Galesburg, IL.
Survivors include one son, Stan Sanford of Grand Junction, CO, one daughter, Shryl (husband Daniel) Courtwright of Boise, Idaho, a half brother, Leon Sanford of Macomb, IL, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister.
He served in the Army during WWII and was a recipient of the Purple Heart.
He was a Physics Tech at Knox College for several years. He graduated from Galesburg High School and attended Bradley University.
No services are scheduled. Cremation will be accorded. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel in charge of arrangements.

She was born November 27, 1925 in Craig, Nebraska the daughter of Ivar and Augusta Anderson Benson. She married Floyd W. Krohn on April 30, 1954 in Galesburg. He preceded her in death on August 11, 1996.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Sandra (and Art) Robelia, Valparaiso, IN and Marlana (and Jerry) Albright, Galesburg, a brother, Donald (and Audrey) Benson of Maquon, IL, a sister, Betty (husband Ken) Bone of Tucson, AZ, 5 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, George and a grandson, Todd A. Albright on July 20, 2001.
She worked at Protexall in Galesburg for several years. She worked in bookkeeping for Fransene Accounting. She was a homemaker. She was a member of O.A.K.S. in Galesburg. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Galesburg, where she was in charge of the sewing group and also volunteered her time helping in the office. She helped her husband with custodial duties within the church.
She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1942.
Funeral will be 10 AM Saturday, July 30, 2005 at the First Lutheran Church, Galesburg. The Rev. Paul Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:30 PM to 8 PM Friday, July 29, 2005 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials can be made to the First Lutheran Church.

He was born December 19, 1950 in Galesburg, IL to Cornelius “Connie” and Iva Jean Smith Maher.
Surviving is his mother Iva Jean Maher of Galesburg, IL.
He is preceded in death by his father and a brother Cornelius Joe Maher.
John was the manager of the Northgate Bowling Alley Pro Shop for several years. He later became a guard for the Brinks Security Company in Galesburg. John was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Galesburg and graduated from Costa High School. He was an avid bowler and a member of ABC Bowling Organization.
Cremation will be accorded with graveside memorial service 10:00 AM Tuesday July 26, 2005 at St. Joseph Cemetery, Galesburg, IL with Deacon Robert Myers officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.

She was born August 26, 1943 in Knox County, IL the daughter of Edward A. and Ruby Johnson Tucker. She married Kenneth Roach in Galesburg, IL in 1963. She later married Eugene A. Perry on October 18, 1973 in Galesburg, IL. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons; Bryan Roach and Donald Perry, one daughter, Cynthia Roach, one brother, William Tucker of Galesburg, one sister, Dorothy DeWeese of Mt. Pulaski, IL and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
She taught elementary school for Community District #205 in Galesburg for 25 years, retiring in 2002.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society. She was a Tiger Boy Scout leader and a Brownie leader. She was a volunteer for Community District #205; she was listed twice in “Who’s Who in American Teachers,” and won the Quad City Favorite Teacher Award. She was a member of the National Education Association and the Galesburg Educational Association.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with Rev. Gina Sheridan officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Tuesday. Burial will be in the Henderson Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or the Christian Children’s Fund.

Also surviving are one daughter, Valarie (and husband, Andy) Roseberry of Oak Harbor, Washington; one granddaughter, Carolyn Roseberry; four brothers, Stan (and wife, Mary Anne) Wherry of Jenkinstown, PA, Gary (and wife, Carole) Wherry of Kenai, Alaska, Ken (and wife, Ellen) Wherry of Memphis, TN and Marvin (and wife, Barbara) Wherry of Lincoln, California; one sister, Kathy (and husband, Larry) Workman of Grangeville, Idaho.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bob Wherry.
She grew up in Aledo, IL where she graduated from high school. She attended Western Illinois University in Macomb. She had also lived in Galesburg before moving to Abingdon.
She was a Quality Assurance Supervisor at Maytag Corporation in Galesburg for 17 years.
She attended the Berwick Baptist Church.
She was a member and past officer of the National Management Association – Galesburg Maytag Chapter.
Services will be at 11 am Monday at the Berwick Baptist Church. Rev. Melody Andrews will officiate. Burial will be in Meridian Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Sunday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel.

She is survived by her mother, Reba Lovan of Galesburg, IL, one daughter, Dusti Moultrie of Peoria, IL, two sisters, Deborah Hoffman of Springdale, Arkanas and Joellen Waymoth of Galesburg, IL, and three grandchildren, Kenneth Moultrie, Kendra Moultrie and Juantevius Larsen of Peoria, IL. She was preceded in death by her father.
She worked as a Psyche Technician at the Galesburg Research Hospital for five years. She taught at KCCDD for two years. She graduated from Macomb High School in 1971. She attended Carl Sandburg College. She was a member of the Galesburg American Legion Auxillary Post 285. She was a member of the Knox County Democratic Women. She was a member of the Knox County Democratic Central Committee. She was a Precinct Committee Chairman for one year. She was a Counselor for Knox County Teen Court for two years. She was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Henderson Grove, IL. She was raised in Macomb, she lived in Oregon for three years, she moved to Galesburg in 1980.

She was born July 24, 1905 in Toulon IL the daughter of Horace and Nora Cutler Quinn. She married Max Wenzelman in Abingdon IL on July 24, 1939. He died December 24, 1967. She later married Carl H. Johnson in Abingdon IL on July 15, 1972. He died March 9, 1987.
She was a school teacher for 35 years teaching in Oxford Twp High School, Alpha High School and Abingdon High School. She retired in 1960. She lived in the Abingdon and Galesburg area her entire life. She graduated from Knox College in 1927. She was a member of the Chapter B.B. of P.E.O. She was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma. She was a charter member of the Knox County Retired Teachers. She was a member of the Round Table Study Club. She was a member of the International Honorary Teachers. She was a member of the Business & Professional Women. She was a member of the Rebecca Parke Chapter-D.A.R. She was a member of the Knox-Lombard 50 year club. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the Martha Circle within the church.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. The Rev. Tom Larsen will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM Monday at the Chapel. She was born December 23, 1913 in Warren, MI, the daughter of Peter and Katherine Helfrich Kartje. She married Arthur Ernest Philps Currie on November 26, 1937 in Ann Arbor, MI. He preceded her in death in 1982.
She is survived by three sons; William Douglas (and Barbara) Currie of Riverside, IL, David Royce (and Toshio Hill) Currie of Sacramento, CA, and Randolph Scott (and Nancy) Currie of Clemmons, NC, one daughter, Sharon Elizabeth (and J.T.) Hill of Galesburg, IL, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and six sisters.
She was a homemaker.

She was born August 16, 1918 in Abingdon to James Vincent and Maria Fava Lamberti. She married Louis A. Ezzo on June 25, 1938 in Abingdon. He preceded her in death on August 6, 1986.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Alfred Lamberti and one sister, Repa Peluso.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Lou (and husband Roger) Larsen of Goodfield, IL and Toni (and husband Tom) Sheridan of South Bend, IN; one son, Anthony (and wife Sunny) Ezzo of Springfield; one sister, Angeline (and husband Robert) Owens of Bettendorf, IA; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She grew up in Abingdon where she attended Abingdon Schools. She later moved to New Castle, PA with her husband. She and her husband returned to Abingdon in 1956 where she lived until 1986. She then lived with her daughter in South Bend until 1990 when she moved to Springfield to live with her son.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Abingdon and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church. She attended St. Agnes Catholic Church in Springfield.
Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 pm Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Abingdon. Father Bill Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
