Ms. Gloria K. Potter, Galesburg Chapel

72, of Galesburg, Illinois died 12:50 am Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Seminary Manor Nursing Home.
She was born July 6, 1944 in Galesburg the daughter of Charles and Hazel Cook Potter, Sr. She married Gary St. Clair and later married Robert Van Treese.
Gloria is survived by her two sons, Mark (Jane) St. Clair of Knoxville, Illinois and Zachary Van Treese of Galesburg; her daughter, Yvette (Tim) Heatherly of Galesburg and five grandchildren, Trece St. Clair, Sydney Howerton, Ivy Lovell, TJ and DJ Heatherly. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Charles Potter, Jr.
Gloria had worked as a real estate agent for many years and also was a counselor at the Mary Davis Home. She last worked for CNS Logistics as a courier. She graduated from Galesburg High School and had received her real estate license. She loved her cats and enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Cremation will be accorded. A Private Family service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Knox County Humane Society. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
