  3. I was sorry to read of Joyce’s death and want to extend my sympathy to her family. Always enjoyed visiting with her back in the Galesburg Christian Church days long ago.
I was happy to visit with her at Hawthorne Inn after she took residence there. She was such a friendly happy person. I will be thinking of you all on Saturday as you say your goodbyes.

  4. Randy, Jeff, Steve and Families,
Joyce was one of the ‘sisters’ (Rita Litchfield, Monill McClure and me) who took many FUN and memorable trips to Florida, Lake of the Ozarks, Chicago, etc. She was so much fun, easy going, and was always ready to go. She was dedicated to church, family and helping. It seemed she was consistently busy on a project or going to visit children and grandchildren trying to help whenever and wherever she saw the need. She was never one to sit and do nothing. We had many heart-warming conversations about church and family. I miss all the ‘sisters’ and will cherish their memory and times we had together forever.
