77, 29 Chestnut St., Galesburg, IL died at 8:00 PM Saturday April 23, 2005 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg, IL.
She was born April 18, 1928 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Charles A. and Avanna C. Cooper Norris. She married Paul H. Carlson July 26, 1947 in Galesburg, IL. He preceded her in death on January 20, 1982. She later married Wayne F. Leuchtenberg June 16, 1984 in Galesburg, IL. He survives.
Also surviving is one son, Paul H. (and Lupe) Carlson, Jr., Moline, IL, one daughter, Paula (and Joel) Graham, Knoxville, IL, one step-daughter, Janet (and Frank) Shobe, Bloomington, IL, three brothers, Charles A. (and Mary Alice) Norris, Jr., Sacramento, CA, Richard E. (and Phyllis) Norris, Galesburg, IL, and Max L. (and Tricia) Norris, Modesto, CA, one sister, Sandra K. (and Wayne) Madvig, Galesburg, IL, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, a step-son, David Leuchtenberg, one brother and one sister.
She was a house cleaner in the Galesburg area for thirty years. She then worked for Pioneer Seed Company in Woodhull, IL. Later she and her husband owned and operated Wayne’s Lawn Mower Service in Galesburg.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Circles in Galesburg, IL.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday April 27, 2005 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with the Rev. Trish Madden officiating. Visitation will be 6:30 to 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the family.
