92, 1135 Parkview Road, Galesburg, died at 9:50 PM Wednesday, May 3, 2006 in Rosewood Care Center, Galesburg.
She was born August 15, 1913 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Emil and Augusta Paasch Buelow. She married Everett A. Shinn on February 28, 1933 in Rock Island, IL. He preceded her in death on August 9, 1978.
She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Barsema, Galesburg, 4 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 6 brothers and 5 sisters.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Galesburg and the ladies aid of the church. She attended Clinton (IA) schools. She had lived in Galesburg since 1975.
Funeral will be 10:30 AM Monday in Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. The Rev. Daniel Smith will officiate. Visitation will be one prior to services at the church. Committal services will be at 1:30 PM Monday at Clinton Lawn Cemetery, Clinton, Iowa. Memorials can be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
