Mr. Edward (Ed) Lee Spencer, Galesburg Chapel
21 of Morrison, IL, formerly of Galesburg died at 3:25 PM Sunday January 21, 2007 at this home.
He was born March 25, 1985 in Peoria, IL the son of William Edward and Darson Marie Biddle Spencer.
He is survived by one son, Caleb Robert Spencer at home, his father, William E. (and Lorrie) Spencer, Jr. of Grand Junction, CO, two brothers, Levi Cordairo Biddle of Galesburg and William “Bill” Edward (and Nachole) Spencer of Naples, FL, his grandparents, Janet and Bill Spencer of Williamsfield, IL, grandmother, Barbara Rosner of Galesburg, grandfather, Dick (and Lynn) Biddle of Knoxville, IL and several cousins, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by his mother, Darson Marie Spencer in 1996.
He worked as a laborer for many years. He graduated from Galesburg High school in 2004. He attended Hope Wesleyan Church in Galesburg. He enjoyed fishing and art.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM Friday January 26, 2007 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials can be made to the family. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.

i am sorry to hear about Eddie u know all of your friends at GHS will miss you and i just thought i would say i am sorry for the familys loss i know how it feels to lose a loved one i lost my mom on Aug. 11th 2006 sorry for your loss

i am so sorry for the loss of your son , brother,grandson,father and cousin .i did`nt ever get to know ed but met his twin brother this last summer at a wedding reception .i did know the spencer family very well . my sincere sympathies
My dear nephew, you are so loved and greatly missed. I’m sorry that you was hurting so much, I know how you felt.

I just want to let Bill and Levi know how sorry I am that this has happened. I have not gotten to know you three, but I have always carried you in my heart. I loved your mom so much and I know the pain you are feeling with loseing your brother. It seems like it was just yesterday when you and I were riding the bus, talking and laughing off our butts, The years flew by and went too fast, and just recently I found out you had passed, I visited you just yesterday as I walked by your family, there was joy there were tears and there was laughing, I looked at your sleeping face so quiet and cold, I cant believe you were only twenty one years old, I remeber you comforted me and told me you liked me, and if my man and i never worked out that you would date me, I wish you hadnt left and you were still here, i would be a better friend and let you know i cared, You were sweet and kind and the funniest I met, i want you to know that i love you to death, but now you’re looking down on all of your friends, making sure they don’t get into any tight ends, i hope you’re doing well and that ill see you later in life, that youll greet me with warm arms as a friend for life.
