73, of 2478 – 140th St. in Galesburg died at 12:50 AM Wednesday May 29, 2002 in Marigold Health Care Center.
She was born August 23, 1928 in Aledo, IL to Ray and Edythe (Gates) Saxer. She married Clifford L. Munson on September 30, 1956 in Galesburg IL. He survives.
She is survived by cousins Eileen and Warren Toal in Omaha, NE.
She worked as a school teacher in Knox County for forty years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Coldbrook Christian Church. She was a member of the Ontario Home Extension, Rio Women’s Club and the Coldbrook Women’s Club. She graduated from Galesburg High School and Western Illinois Teachers College.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday May 31, 2002 in Memorial Park Cemetery, Galesburg, with Rev. Becky Ingram officiating. Memorials can be made to the Coldbrook Christian Church.
