75, 678 E. Grove St., Galesburg, died at 4:45 PM Sunday, May 24, 2009 in the emergency room of Galesburg Cottage Hospital.
She was born September 23, 1933 in Maquon, the daughter of Ray and Lucille Dalton German. She married Robert Dunn in 1949 in Rushville.
She is survived by 2 sons, Dan (and Linda) Dunn of Bethel, MO and Kirk (and Deborah) Dunn of Blue Springs, MO, her companion of 22 years, Wilbur Gaddis, whom lived with her, 7 grandchildren, a brother, Don (and Martha) German of Galesburg, and a half brother, Keith Carter of Galva, IL.
Lois was an instructor for KCCDD for 20 years, retiring in 2002. She graduated from Galva High School. She was a past member of the Dahinda United Methodist Church and attended Calvary Assembly of God Church in Galesburg. Lois loved gardening, flowers, fishing, crafting, NASCAR Racing, and being with her close friends. She had lived in Galesburg, Galva, and Dahinda.
Funeral will be 1:30 PM Saturday in Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. The Rev. Bob Malone will officiate. Visitation will be noon to 1:30 PM Saturday at the chapel.
