75, of 800 N. Market St., Knoxville, IL died Sunday October 27, 2002 at 9:25 PM at the Knox County Nursing Home Knoxville, IL.
She was born August 1, 1927 in Sterling, KS to William B. and Naomi D. (Miller) Brush. She married Gerald E. Hopping January 31, 1943 in Memphis, MO. He preceded in death on April 6, 1997.
She is survived by four children, Christy Wood and Terry Hopping, both of Colorado Springs, Co. and Sheridale Hopping and Pamela DeKeyrel, both of Galesburg, IL, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was an artist and a homemaker. She graduated from high school in Colorado Springs, Co., a member of the Miniature Art Guild of Colorado, the International Society of Poets, and was active in scouting both boys and girls.
There will be no services. Memorials may be made to the Knox County Nursing Home or the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
