Hi Dad, it’s been a few years since I’ve seen you but you are carried in my heart every day. Sometimes I wish we could back up time and enjoy the days when you were still physically a part of the family that you and Mom built together but I wouldn’t want to go through the time of losing you all over again. You are in a much better place now and have been for several years now as I’m writing this. You are missed greatly missed and never will be forgotten. I will always be your baby and a part of me wishes that I could have gotten to know the younger you but what I did get to know will be with me always. I enjoyed following you around to see what you were up to whether it be fixing something around the house or priffing (your favorite word with me or any youngster) out in the garden in the backyard. This year will be your 93rd birthday. Happy Birthday a few months ahead of time.
