Mr. Glenn Michael Anderson, Galesburg Chapel
42, of Galesburg, died at 8:11 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at home.
He was born October 20, 1969 in Silver Spring, Md., the son of Clyde and Patricia Stamm Thompson. He was later adopted by Jerry Anderson, who raised Glenn with Patricia. He married Jeanmarie Anderson in July 1994 in Galesburg.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanmarie; a daughter, Janey, at home; a brother, Robbie Anderson; a half brother, Raymond Anderson; and a grandfather, Clyde Thompson. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Glenn was an accountant by trade, working as a controller, owner, and entrepreneur. He was currently a student and graduate assistant at Bradley University. He graduated from Galesburg High School in 1988 and Arizona State University in 1994. Glenn was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. He enjoyed sports and history.
Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. Rev. William Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials may be made to an education fund for his daughter, Janey, in care of Lake Forest Bank and Trust. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.

My heart is heavy after hearing of the loss of Glenn. A nicer guy you would never find as I too have fond memories of Glenn from GHS and am sad to hear of his passing. Many prayers to the family.
