94, of 33 Allens Avenue Galesburg, IL, died at 7:28 AM Tuesday November 27, 2001 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg, IL.
He was born on April 7, 1907 in IA. He had been married to Ana McCallister. He married Agnes Villager in Galesburg on May 11, 1981. She survives.
He worked at Admiral Division of Maytag for 24 years. He was a member of the Corpus Christi Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. He served in the Merchant Marines for eight years.
He is also survived by a son, Donald Shane of Atlanta, GA, one grandchild and two great grandchildren. Two sisters and a stepsister preceded him in death.
His funeral will be 3:30 PM Friday November 30, 2001 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with Rev. Thomas Seibert officiating. Visitation will be from 2:30 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. Friday at the Chapel. Memorials may be made to charity of the donor’s choice.
