Mrs. Neva Mae Lehman, Galesburg Chapel

98, formerly of 423 N. Kellogg St., Galesburg, died at 7:50 AM Thursday, January 01, 2004 in Heartland Health Care Center.
She was born December 25, 1905 in Honeywell, MO, the daughter of Albert C. and Jessie M. Patterson Sorrell. She married Clifford V. Lehman on March 12, 1921 in Hannibal, MO. He preceded her in death on July 20, 1975.
She is survived by a son, Charles E. (and Phoebe) Lehman, Lyndon, IL, a son-in-law who cared for her, Glenn Nelson, Galesburg, 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gearldeen Nelson on February 14, 1998, a grandson, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Galesburg. She was a member and past president of the Women’s Relief Corps. She was a member of OAKS and REACT.
Funeral will be 11 AM Saturday in Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. The Rev. Marilyn Anell will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the chapel. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials can be made to the First United Methodist Church.
