Mr. Clyde N. Sargeant

Clyde N. Sargeant, 77, of Galesburg, died at 7:55 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2018 in OSF St. Mary Medical Center.

He was born September 5, 1940, in Galesburg, the son of Kenneth L. and Delilah (Wade) Sargeant.

He is survived by three sisters, Lois I. Condreay of Galesburg, Janice Westfall of Henderson, and Linda Thurman of St. Augustine; two brothers, Mike Sargeant and James Sargeant, both of Galesburg; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, and one sister.

Clyde worked at the former Star Station for several years.

Cremation will be accorded.  No visitation or service is planned at this time.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services of Galesburg is handling arrangements for the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
