Mr. John Sizemore Obituary

John Adam Sizemore, 38 of Abingdon, passed away Friday morning, June 28, 2019 at his home.

He was born November 29, 1980 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, the son of John Henry Sizemore and Jean Denise (Schofield) Sizemore. He married Jennifer Nash in 2005 in Chicago.

John is survived by his wife, Jennifer; his daughters, Alana and Mia, both at home; his mother, Jean Schofield of Abingdon; his father, John Henry Sizemore of Bozeman, Montana; his sister, Angela Sizemore of Billings, Montana; his grandmothers, Lola Schofield of Abingdon and Savannah Sizemore of Round Lake Beach, Illinois; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

John attended schools in Addison, Illinois and later earned his GED. He worked as a mechanic at A-Z Auto and later drove a forklift at Lowe’s in Galesburg. He was a huge Chicago Bears fan and also enjoyed fishing and being in the outdoors. His favorite music group was Metallica. He enjoyed BBQ picnics with his family.

Cremation will be accorded. His family will plan to celebrate his life at a later date. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Abingdon Chapel is assisting the family.
