Mr. Michael James McCall

Mr. Michael James McCall, 62, of Galesburg, Illinois died at 1:36 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2018 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital.

He was born September 19, 1955 in Galesburg, Illinois the son of James Alvin and Clara Frances Diehl McCall.

He is survived by his step-daughter, Nicole (Joshua) Stevenson of Kankakee, Illinois; his brother, Daniel McCall of Galesburg, his two sisters, Shelley (Jeff) Boender of Gary, Indiana and Bonnie (Dave) Yeoman of Petersburg, Illinois and three grandchildren, Keion, Kecie and Kamar. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Michael was a truck driver for over 38 years, driving 9 years for Holland Trucking and Maytag for 18 years. He drove truck for famous musicians and Broadway shows. Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle and listening to music.

Funeral service will be Noon, Monday, February 19, 2018 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Rev. James Ecklund will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00-Noon, Monday at the chapel. Cremation will follow services with burial at a later date in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.  Memorial may be made to the National Kidney Foundation. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
