Shawn Michael Butler, 53, of Galesburg, died at 5:17 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at home.

He was born April 24, 1964, in Galesburg, the son of Donald Edwin and Peggy Lucille (Bivens) Butler. He married Susan Wingate in 1999 in Galesburg.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Susan; a son Logan Butler of Galesburg; and siblings.
