Mrs. Carol J. Lindley

Mrs. Carol Jean Lindley, 74, of Galesburg formerly of Moline, Illinois passed away at 10:32 am Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg.

She was born August 4, 1944 in Moline, Illinois the daughter of Edmund L. “Ed” and Gabrella Bonduelle Lindley. She married Gary Wayne Jones. They later divorced.

Carol is survived by her two daughters, Julie (Jeffrey) Larson of Galesburg and Jennifer (Paul) Wiener of Rock Island, Illinois and one grandchild, Jordan Larson. She is preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Jared Larson.

Carol sold life insurance for many years in the Quad City area. She later was a cashier for the Highland Ball Park in Moline. She retired working as an in home health aide. She was of the Christian faith. Carol was an avid bowler, bowling on various leagues. She was a true Chicago sportsman, following the Chicago Bears, Bulls and the Cubs.

Cremation will be accorded. No services are scheduled at this time. Memorials may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association, in remembrance of her grandson, Jared Larson.
