Mrs. Carolyn K. Feirtag, 71, of Galesburg, Illinois died 8:36 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois.
She was born February 3, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri to Cletus and Mary Kuntz Paull. She married Raymond Feirtag in 1976 in Burlington, Iowa. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Jim Feirtag of Houston, Texas and Bryan Feirtag of Bloomington, Illinois, a daughter, Diana Bertling of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, three brothers, Jim Paull of Atlanta, Georgia, Steve Paull of Redding, California and David Paull of Burlington, Iowa, a sister, Kathy Strong of Ottawa, Illinois and two grandchildren, Abigail and Katelyn Feirtag. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Carolyn graduated from Notre Dame High School in Burlington, Iowa. She was a member of First Church of God in Galesburg and Knox County Right to Life. She also volunteered regularly at the Women’s Pregnancy Center in Galesburg. She enjoyed making cards and decorative stamping.
Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 8, 2018 at First Church of God. The visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday at the church. Cremation will follow the service. Memorials may be made to the First Church of God.
