Mrs. Darlene Clark Obituary

Mrs. Darlene M. Clark, 83, of Maquon, Illinois died 10:11 a.m. Friday, November 22, 2019 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital.

She was born October 9, 1936 the daughter of Clifford Scott. She married C. William “Bill” Clark.

Surviving are two grandsons, Matthew Clark of Maquon, Illinois, Joshua (and Jasmine) Clark of Galesburg, a granddaughter, Hannah Clark of Galesburg, three great grandchildren, Aaliegha, Kairi, and Jackie Clark. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sons, Stephen S. Clark, on November 2, 2002, C. William Clark on July 24, 2014, and Jesse M. Clark on February 23, 2015, and two brothers.

Darlene worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg for several years. She later worked in security for Zeller Mental Health Center in Peoria, Illinois until her retirement in 1999. She loved painting and was a member of the Illinois Painters Society.

Cremation will be accorded. No services are planned. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
