Mrs. Debra S. (Wade) Canfield

Mrs. Debra S. Canfield, 60, of Galesburg, Illinois died 7:35 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital. 

She was born July 10, 1957 in Galesburg, Illinois to Paul and Ruby Gratton Wade.  She married Thomas W. Canfield May 27, 1992 in Galesburg.  He survives. 

Also surviving are four brothers, Walter (and Eileen) Wade of Galesburg, Bill (and Sheila) Wade of Nashville, Tennessee, Johnny (and Penny) Wade and Bobby (and Sylvia) Wade of Galesburg, four sisters, Paula Wade of Galesburg, Kay (and Perry) Cozier of Cambridge, Illinois, Frieda (and Tim) Woods of Peoria, Illinois and Sarah (and Ray) Mortimer of Monmouth, Illinois, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and five sisters. 

Debra graduated from Galesburg High School in 1975.  She worked as a teller for the former First Bank and then Heritage Credit Union in Galesburg.  She later worked as a leasing agent for the Mary Allen West Towers in Galesburg.  Debra was a member of the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah Witness. 

Cremation will be accorded.  Visitation will be 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May, 30, 2018 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Service Galesburg Chapel.  A graveside service will follow the visitation at East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg.  Johnny Wade will officiate.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
