Mrs. Eulanda Y. Lee, 50 of Galesburg, Illinois, passed away at 11:56 a.m. Monday, February, 26, 2018 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg.
She was born June 26, 1967 in Gary, Indiana, the daughter of Donald and Edna Kendrick Roebuck. She married Jimmy Roy Lee, Jr. on March 21, 2015 in Galesburg.
Eulanda is survived by her husband, Jimmy Lee of 3 years; her father, Donald Roebuck of Houston, Texas, two sons: Andrew Nicholson, Jr. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Adonis Smith of Atlanta, Georgia; two daughters: Christine and Crystal Turner of Galesburg; one brother, Hollis Hackett, Jr. of Florida; three sisters, Theresa (Pastor Roosevelt) Williams of Maple Grove, Minnesota, Lisa Roebuck of Merriville, Indiana and Karen Garner of Indianapolis, Indiana; Nine grandchildren: Cameron Andrew Nicholson, Ja’Darious Mask, Christian, LeBron, and Krystal Turner, Darryl Smith, Jr., Allen Turner, Jasmine Dillard and John Dillard. Eulanda was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Roebuck; grandmother, Betty Jean Curry; sister, Donna Marie Roebuck, and Sister-in-Law, Candice Hackett.
Eulanda attended Roosevelt High School in Gary, Indiana and James Madison High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated from IBA State College of Beauty and before becoming disabled, she was self-employed as a Hair Stylist and Cosmetologist. She was a faithful member of Standing Word Christian Center in Maple Grove, Minnesota. She relocated to Galesburg where she became a faithful member of Second Baptist Church. She was a Deaconess and dedicated volunteer at the church’s food pantry. Eulanda loved her family, especially her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed going to church and serving God.
Celebration of Life service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Second Baptist Church, 1530 Brown Ave., Galesburg. Rev. Kimberly Bonds will officiate. Immediate Family members only will meet at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel for the Viewing. Memorials may be made to the Family.
