Mrs. Janet Leigh (Mills) Carroll

Janet L. Carroll, 62, of Galesburg, Illinois died at 11:30 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Rosewood Care Center, Galesburg.

She was born July 22, 1955 in Alton, Illinois the daughter of Bradley and Ethel Lee Stoner Mills. She married Bobby Carrol Sr. in 1973 in Alton, Illinois.

She is survived by her children, Bobby Jr. and Allen Carroll and Kami Jackson; her brothers, Bobby, Bradley and Robbie Mills, William Wilson; her sisters, Robbie Sandy, Linda White, Trish Mills, Vanessa Mills and Susan Melton; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Angie, her brother, David and her sisters, Deborah and Cherrie.

Janet worked in retail for over 16 years. She graduated from Alton High School in 1974. She enjoyed watching TV and reading.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2017 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. James Ecklund will officiate.
