Mrs. Jodi Lee (Anthony) Woods

Jodi Lee Woods, 39 of Galesburg passed away at 2:00 a.m., Sunday, December 29, 2019 in her home, surrounded by loved ones.

Jodi was born Christmas Eve 1980 in Peoria to Sheryl “Sherry” Kay Anthony. She married Dennis Crist in Galesburg, September 9, 2008 and together they had three children. She later married Charles Woods in Galesburg, July 20, 2012.

She is survived by her seven children Ethan Crist, Payton Crist, Charlie Crist, Ethan Woods, Justin Woods, D.J. Woods and Emily Woods all of Galesburg, her husband Charles Woods of Galesburg, father of her children Dennis Crist of Galesburg, her mother Sherry Dodson of Galesburg, two brother Jeremy (Stefanie) Anthony of Knoxville and Joshua (Pam) Anthony of Rome, Illinois, as well as several dear nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents.

Jodi Graduated from Abingdon High School in 1999. She worked at Farmland and Galesburg Electric before becoming a homemaker and caregiver to her children. Jodi and her brother enjoyed playing volleyball for city leagues. She was also very fond of the outdoors, she found delight in going camping, hiking, and fishing—often wanting to “get her sun in” for the day. Jodi loved all types of flowers and gardening but most of all, she loved her children and each moment spent with them.

Cremation will be accorded. There are no services planned at this time. Memorial Contributions may be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Director and Cremation Services is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
