Mrs. Judith M. (Stoneking) Anderson

Mrs. Judith Mae Anderson, 71, of Galesburg died at 1:03 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2019 at Marigold Health Care Center; surrounded by loved ones.

Judith was born in Galesburg on February 26, 1947 to Vernie and Gladys (DuPuy) Stoneking. She married Edwin R. Anderson, Jr. on April 10, 1992.

Judith is survived by her husband, Ed, of Galesburg along with her children, Patricia M. James of Galesburg, Ronald E. (Tina) James of Galesburg and Denise L. (Christopher) Wetzel of Alexis, Illinois; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Alonzo, Kathryn Struck, Paul (Carmen) Durham, Rachel (Joe) Moeller, Forrest (Ashlee) Allen, Joseph James, Nicholas (Brittany) James, Zachariah (Amanda) Wetzel, Jacob Wetzel, Isaac (Whitney) Wetzel, Margaret (Kaleb) Sherwood and twenty great grandchildren.  Also surviving are her siblings, Dennis Stoneking and Deborah Watson. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Judith was raised and educated in Galesburg. After graduating from Galesburg High School she took care of her family as a home maker. She loved her family, music, dancing, cooking shows, crafts, collecting cookbooks and antique/vintage items.

Funeral service will be 7:00 pm Tuesday, January 15, 2018 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Service Galesburg Chapel.  Rev. Jordan Knight will officiate.  Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday at the chapel.  Cremation will be accorded following the funeral service.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family c/o Judith M.
