Mrs. Kathy F. (Cline) Murfin

Mrs. Kathy F. Murfin, 64, of Galesburg, Illinois died 4:04 p.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2018 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

She was born May 17, 1954 in Galesburg to Charles Leon and Lillian Marie Williams Cline. She married Steve Murfin November 13, 1981 in Abingdon, Illinois.  He died September 16, 2018. 

Surviving are her parents, Charles and Evelina Cline of Galesburg, and Lillian Marie Borth of Galesburg, two sons, Joseph (and Amy) Hatch of Oneida, Illinois, and Corey Murfin of Galesburg, three daughters, Nicole (and Eric) Gans of Plainfield, Illinois, Stephanie Colvin of Galesburg and Sheila (and Richard) Crouse of Rio, Illinois, two sisters, Sylvia (and Mike) Lee of Monmouth, Illinois and Diane Spinner of Petersburg, Illinois, thirteen grandchildren, Mallory, Brandon, Madi, Lauren, Sarah, Amber, Wes, Scott, Cody, Whitney, Tyson, Courtney and Megan and two great-grandchildren, Gaven and Gabby. 

Kathy worked as an administrative assistant for the State of Illinois for 26 years.  She retired in 2013.  She was a member of the Harley Owners Group, Kewanee Chapter.  Kathy enjoyed spending time with family, motorcycling, gardening, traveling, baking and home remodeling. 

Cremation will be accorded.  A memorial service with her husband, Steve, will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel.  Rev. Jon Sims will officiate.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
