Mrs. Ruth E. Sandberg

Mrs. Ruth E. Sandberg, 92, of Ticonderoga, New York, formerly of Galesburg, Illinois passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019 in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Ruth is survived by a son Guy (and Sue) Sandberg of West Palm Beach; a daughter Audrey (and Thomas) Provoncha of Ticonderoga; a brother Arthur Brahmstedt of Ophiem, Illinois; two grandsons, Joseph Sandberg and Jason Vinson; a great-granddaughter Lilly; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers; Raymond “Pete” Brahmstedt and Glen Brahmstedt.

Prior to her retirement, Ruth worked as a LPN in the healthcare field for many years.  She was a generous person with a big heart.  Her greatest enjoyment was being with her family.  She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother.

A Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Alexis Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth’s name may be made to Hospice.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
