Ms. Susan K. Wunderlich

Ms. Susan K. Wunderlich, 71, of Galesburg died at 11:23 a.m., Friday, January 4, 2019 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.

Susan was born in Galesburg on November 22, 1947 to Joseph Clark Sr. and Leona (Webb) Wunderlich. She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by one brother Tom “Chopper” (& Pat) Wunderlich of Galesburg, one brother-in-law Alfred Adams of Knoxville, one sister Carol A. (& Tom) Smith of Oxford, Mississippi, one special cousin, Mary Jane (& John) Workman of Clinton, Illinois, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Susan is preceded in death by two brothers Joe Wunderlich Jr. and Jack Wunderlich; and one sister Greta Adams.

Susan was raised and educated in Galesburg, having graduated from Galesburg High School in 1965. She then worked as a law secretary at Connelly & McDonald Law Office for many years before working as a CNA in the home health care field. Susan was an avid cat lover and in her spare time enjoyed being with her long-lasting friends since high school; Barb, Connie and Lynnea.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Hope Wesleyan Church. Cremation has been accorded. Memorials may be made to the Hope Wesleyan Church. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, Galesburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
