Barbara Jean Magee

63 of Keithsburg, IL died at 7:25 pm Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at her home. She was born on April 27, 1945 in Keithsburg, IL to Roy Clifford and Dorothy Vianna Taylor Finch. Barbara had previously worked at the grocery store in Raritan, IL, was a waitress in Keithsburg, IL, managed the Hotel in Keithsburg, IL, worked at the Witica Factory in Iowa and had also worked as a dietary cook at the Care Center of Abingdon, Abingdon, IL. She was divorced and her marriages were to Lyle Eugene Swank for nine years, Michael Arthur Paszkiet and later she married Paul Magee. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa (and Bill) Herlein of Fruitland, IA; six sons, Roger (and Becky) Swank, Mike Swank, Roy (and Sharon) Swank all of Abingdon, IL, Jeff Swank of Muscatine, IA, Steven (and Teresa) Paszkiet of Liberty, IL, Kevin Magee of Raritan, IL; 19 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; her siblings, Albert (and Bertha) Finch of Keithsburg, IL, Thelma Robbins of Keithsburg, IL, Jim Finch of Aledo, IL, Donnie (and Elle) Finch of Bettendorf, IA, Edna Field of Des Moines, IA, Patty Brock of Keithsburg, IL, Rodney (and Lois) Finch of Florida, Gary (and Debbie) Finch of Aledo, IL, Leah (and Kinney) Finley of LaHarpe, IL and Allen Finch of Anamosa, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Dorothy Finch, her siblings Marion Finch, Erma Finch and Harry Finch, a son Brian Paszkiet and two grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 3:00 pm Saturday, December 20, 2008 at the Keithsburg Christian Church. Rev. Chuck Reynolds will officiate. Burial will be in Greenmound Cemetery in Keithsburg, IL. Visitation will be one hour before the service on Saturday at the church. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel is in charge of arrangements for the family. Following the burial at the cemetery, everyone is invited to join the family for a luncheon at the Keithsburg Christian Church in honor of Barbara Jean.
