Obituary
Beverly A. Glendening, 84, of Galesburg, died at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Allure of Lake Storey in Galesburg.
She was born June 23, 1939 in New Sharon, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence and Birdie (Herberth) Glendening.
She is survived by three nieces, Arlene Shaw, Wanda Voll and Marilyn Jean Kalbach, two nephews, Ron Fry and Merlyn Dean Glendening. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Samuel E. Glendening, two sisters, Wilma Fry and Erma Parmer, and a niece, Evelyn Patterson.
Beverly worked for Outboard Marine Corporation in Galesburg for 20 years. She also had and maintained rental properties in the area. She was gifted at doing the necessary repairs to her homes herself. Beverly also loved motorcycles.
A Graveside Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Galesburg. Memorials may be made to Beacon of Hope Hospice.
