, 62, 791 IL Route 41 died at 12:01 am Wed., August 31, 2005 at her home. She was born on Jan. 20, 1943 in Macomb to Wayne and Beulah Kern Waddill, who preceded her in death. She married Robert G. "Jerry" Rehling on Sept. 30, 1961 in Stronhurst. He survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Kelly (Steve) Batson of Abingdon; two sons, Barry (DeAnne) Rehling of RR Cameron and Beau Rehling of Abingdon; two brothers, William (Sherry) Waddill of Galesburg and Robert (Nancy) Waddill of Des Moines, IA; two grandchildren. She lived in Raritan for a short time and later moved to Stronghurst where she graduated as salutatorian in 1961 at Stronghurst High School. After her marriage, she lived in a cabin in Shokokon, later lived in Stronghurst and in 1964 moved to Abingdon. She was a homemaker. While at home, she became a licensed couture for the Figurettes Company and continued that throughout her life. She worked part time at the Wareco gas station in Abingdon as a cashier and later, along with her husband, managed the Wareco gas station on E. Main St. in Galesburg for three years. She last worked at VSM Trucking where she did payroll and billings for 17 years. She was involved in Jr. Women's Club, PTO, Abingdon Booster Club and was a member of Lake Bracken Country Club. She also participated in a local bridge club. She was a member of the Abingdon Christian Church and helped the youth singing group "ACTS", taught high school Sunday school class, sang in a trio, directed the children's choir and was the choir director for 18 years. She had also served as church treasurer. Services will be at 10:00 am Friday at the Abingdon Christian Church. Rev. Raymond McLaren will officiate. Burial will be in Carman Cemetery in Carman. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel. Memorials may be made to her church or the Lamoine Christian Service Camp.
