I lived a block West when we grew up.  What an outstanding career he had.  I never knew an enlisted man ranked that high in my six years.
My sympathy and blessings.

I was a co-worker of Russ's when he worked at the JTPA and WIA programs.  He was great to work with and he was very good at and committed to what he did, whether it was helping unemployed adults start jobs through our On-The-Job training program or getting youth enrolled in our summer youth employment program. I admired his devotion to the armed services, and he always took Veteran's Day off before it was a recognized holiday. My sincere condolences to his surviving family members...I salute you and will see you later in the after-life, Russ.

We love you Grandpa Russ! We are deeply saddened, however, it is a time to rejoice your reunion with GG Mid and your 2 boys. I can only imagine how beautiful your forever paradise is! ❤

I had the honor of Russ’ company at times of illness in the hospital at OSFSMMC. Later I also had the honor of his presence in Pulmonary Rehab. Russ always had a quick story or good questions at Rehab. He loved his family and Mid! I’m sure that when he was called “home” there were so many people to educate and love that he will be so very busy! I hope my folks will have the pleasure of his company at that “big coffee party in the sky”’. I’m so very sorry for your loss.....
