Carl R. Lampkin

70, a resident of the Care Center of Abingdon died at 4:47 pm Saturday, April 23, 2005 at the Care Center. He was born on February 22, 1935 to Henry and Sissy Despain Lampkin. Surviving are two brothers, Jack Lampkin and Everett Lampkin both of Genoa, IL two sisters, his twin sister, Laura Lampkin of Sterling and Nettie Carroll of Princeton: three stepbrothers, Dick Carroll and Bobby Carroll both of Ottawa and Earl Lampkin in Oklahoma; two stepsister, Annie Dennen and Julie Enlow both in Missouri. Graveside service will be at 11 am Tuesday at the Abingdon Cemetery. Eleanor Landon will officiate. There will be no visitation. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
