of 102 N. Franklin St. Avon, died at 10:12 am Sunday, March 2, 2003 in Avon, Il.. He was born March 6, 1985 in Tucson, AZ. to Chance and Jamie DeJaynes Ray. He is survived by his mother, Jamie Ray of Avon, his father, Chance Ray of Abingdon,two sisters, Courtney Ray and Cierra Ray both of Avon; a best friend, Aaron Meyers of Avon; grandparents, Peggy and Carl Kennett III and Jim DeJaynes, Gary & Dixie Ray all of Abingdon; great grandparents, Lavern Lindsey of Abingdon and Bob and Virginia Ray of Avon, Carl and Inez Kennett Jr. of Galesburg, Evelyn Smith of Camp Verde, AZ. He attended Abingdon and Avon schools and currently was enrolled in the GED program at Carl Sandburg College Bushnell campus. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
