Danial Lee Welsh

48 of Galesburg died Monday, August 27, 2007. He was born on September 30, 1958 in Galesburg to Arthur and Martha Wise Welsh. He married Barbara Surber Miller on November 4, 2005 in Galesburg. She survives. Also surviving are his children, Jeremy Welsh of Bushnell; Becky Bonner of Alexis and Star Welsh of Abingdon; 6 grandchildren; his stepchildren, Tony Presley, Michael Miller, Jason Miller, Aaron Miller, Leland Miller and Justen Miller. Danial was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Howard Welsh. He grew up near Abingdon and attended Abingdon schools. Danial later received his GED. He served a short time in the Army. He had worked as a masonry tender and had worked at Galesburg Castings the past three months. Cremation was accorded. Graveside service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, September 1, 2007 at the Abingdon Cemetery. Rev. Josh Moore will officiate. There will be no visitation. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
