Danny K. Hunter

53 of 105 Lincoln Ave, died at 12:08 am Monday, December 25, 2006 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital Emergency Room. He was born on October 9, 1953 in Avon to Lloyd and Wanda Hillyer Hunter. He married Debbie Hunt on July 10, 1970 in Kahoka, MO. She survives. Also surviving is his mother, Wanda Hunter of Abingdon; two sons, Rodney Hunter of Macomb and Adam Hunter of Bettendorf, IA; one daughter, Stacey (and Chris) McMahill of RR Gilson; 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and an infant sister. He had lived most of his life in the Abingdon area. He graduated from Abingdon High School in 1971. He was an independent contractor deliverer for the Peoria Journal Star and Galesburg Register Mail newspapers for 25 years. H coached Little League Baseball and enjoyed fishing, working on his vehicles and spending time with his family. Graveside service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at the Abingdon Cemetery. Rev. Danny E. Hunt will officiate. There will be no visitation. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family.
