David W. Moshier

49, of RR Abingdon died at 2:45 pm Thursday, July 24, 2003 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital ER. He was born on October 25, 1953 in Galesburg to Elwood and Marjorie Cannon Moshier. Surviving are his parents of RR Abingdon, one brother, Daniel (Jodi) Moshier of RR St. Augustine; two sisters, Tina (and Rick) Grohmann of RR Gilson and Terri Brown of Macomb; two nieces and three nephews and one great niece. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. He had lived in the Abingdon area all his life. He graduated from Abingdon High School in 1973. He also graduated from Carl Sandburg College. He retired from the Illinois Department of Transportation, Motor Vehicle Division Galesburg office. He was a past member of the Knox County Board. He was a former supervisor for Indian Point Township. He had served as chairman of the Knox County Township Officials. He was a member and past president of the Abingdon Jaycees and the Abingdon Kiwanis Club. Friends may call from 11:00 am until noon Saturday at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel in Abingdon followed by a graveside service at the Abingdon Cemetery with Eleanor Landon officiating. Memorials may be made to Knox County Humane Society.
