Delorise J. Larsen

73 of Canton and formerly of Abingdon, died at 5:28 am Sunday, April 30, 2006 at Graham Hospital ER in Canton. She was born on June 21, 1932 in Abingdon to Dorance and Louise Paige Lundstrom. She married Richard D. Larsen on June 29, 1952 in Abingdon. He preceded her in death on March 31, 1995. Surviving are a son, Jon Larsen of Marion, IL; five daughters, Jan Bagwell of Strawberry, AR; Jill Courter of Lebanon, ME, Joni Clay of Galesburg, Julie Smith of Elmwood and Jeanne Livingston of Galesburg; one brother, David Lundstrom of Galesburg; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Donald Lundstrom. She grew up in Abingdon and graduated from Abingdon High School. She moved from Abingdon to Carmi, IL where she resided for two years. She moved to Canton in 1986. While in Abingdon, she was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ and was very active in the church choir. She also sang in the Messiah Choir in Galesburg. She was a homemaker and loved her family very much. She was a member of the Women of Moose, Galesburg Lodge. Funeral service will be at 10 am Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel. Rev. M. Annette Faull will officiate. Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery.
