Diana L. Erwin

,48,254 George Ave., died at 3:50 am Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003 at her home. She was born August 24, 1954, in Avon Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Marilyn Wilson Clayton. She married James E. Erwin on December 30, 1977 in Galesburg. Surviving are her husband; her parents of Galesburg; two sons, Terry L. Wells of St. Louis, Mo., James G. (Angie) Erwin of Galesburg; one daughter, Bambi Erwin at home; a sister, Peggy Donnelly of Galesburg; and two grandchildren. She was raised in Prairie City area and also lived in the Abingdon and Galesburg areas. She was a homemaker and worked at APAC Telemarketing, united Facilities in Galesburg, the Monmouth Pottery and as a cook at Perkins in Galesburg. Friends may call from Noon until 1:00 pm Saturday at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel in Abingdon followed by a graveside service at the Abingdon Cemetery with Eleanor Landon and Rev. Bob Malone officiating. Memorials may be made to the family.
