Dorothy E. Condreay

80, a resident of the Care Center of Abingdon, died at 1:20 pm Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital. She was born on October 16, 1925 in Knox County to Cline and Esther Meadows Danner. She married Robert Risenhoover. She later married Harold Condreay on September 6, 1946 in Galesburg. He preceded her in death on September 26, 1998. Surviving are two daughters, Dottie (and Galen) Peacock of Gilson, Evelyn (and Elden) Simpson of Abingdon; one son, Bobby Risenhoover of Kansas; 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Geraldine Danner. She had live Galesburg and Abingdon most of her life and was resident of the Care Center of Abingdon the past two years. She worked at the former Blue Bell Manufacturing in Abingdon and was a homemaker. She was of the protestant faith and was affiliated with the Church of God of Prophecy in Abingdon. Graveside service will be at 11:00 am Thursday, July 27, 2006 at the Abingdon Cemetery. Rev. Warren Cummins will officiate. There will be no visitation. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Church of God of Prophecy.
