Dorothy Gayle Sensabaugh

94, a resident of the Care Center of Abingdon the past six years, died at 11:30 am Monday, January 1, 2007 at the Care Center of Abingdon. She was born on October 10, 1912 in Coldbrook Township, Warren County, IL to George and Nettie Gray French. She married Clyde Stewart Sensabaugh on March 12, 1932. e preceded her in death on November 13, 1981. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her children, Don (and wife Dixie) Sensabaugh of Springfield, MO, William (and wife Charlotte) Sensabaugh of Mission, TX, Doris (late husband Richard) Uhlmann of Liberty, MO and Ron (and wife Joyce) Sensabaugh of Galesburg, IL; one sister, Bessie Hand of Marion, IA; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren. Dorothy attended school in Cameron and later graduated from Monmouth High School. She was a longtime employee of Formfit in Monmouth and following the closing of Formfit she enjoyed many years of employment at the LaMoine Christian Nursing Home in Roseville. She was a member of the Abingdon United Methodist Church. Graveside service will be at 11:00 am Friday, January 5, 2007 at the Abingdon Cemetery. Rev. James Oliver will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 10:45 am Friday at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
