Ed Boone

63, of RR London Mills died at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 25, 2003, at his home. He was born on June 1, 1940 in Durham Township, Hancock County near LaHarpe, IL to Virgil and Ethel Buhl Boone. He married Jan Meadows on October 24, 1958 in Abingdon. She survives. Also surviving are one son, Danny (and Patty) Boone of RR Abingdon; two daughters, Kathy (and James) Ball of Kewanee and Tracey Roberts-Alvarezof Malta, IL; 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; two brothers, Terry (and LeAnn) Boone of Wataga and Jerry (and Jenny) Boone of Louisa, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Richard Boone. He grew up in the LaHarpe and Roseville areas. His family moved to Abingdon in 1957. He graduated from Abingdon High School in 1958. He had lived At RR London Mills the past 32 years. He was a retired electrician, having worked at the former Briggs Mfg. Company, Schisler Companies and was later self employed as Booneé
