George Page Obituary

Mr. George W. Page, 86, of Galesburg, Illinois passed away at 4:02 pm Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Marigold Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

George was born June 8, 1936, in Galesburg the son of Robert L. and Violet E. (Ekstrom) Page.

He is survived by his brothers, Robert D. “Dale” Page and Lloyd E. (Nancy) Page both of Peoria, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John Page.

George graduated from Galesburg High School in 1954 and entered in the US Army stationed in Germany as a Sp4. He worked for Gale Products for 28 years, retiring July 13, 1984. George was a longtime avid Chicago Cub and Chicago Bears fan.

George’s wishes were to be cremated with a private family graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice or to Hospice Compassus.
