Jack Reno Obituary

73 of Indianapolis, IN and formerly of Abingdon died at 6:30 am Saturday, September 1, 2007 in Indianapolis. He was born on August 15, 1934 in Abingdon, a son of Kenneth G. and Hazel C. Lewis Reno. Jack is survived by two sisters, Mary Sampson of RR 6 Galesburg and Margaret "Maggie" and Eddie Hueston of Indianapolis, IN with whom Jack lived with; a brother, Roger and Deanna Reno of Abingdon. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marilyn Kinzer. He graduated from Abingdon High School in 1953. He served in the Air Force for four years and was stationed in New York, California and in France. He worked as a carpenter for 35 years. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel. Eleanor Landon will officiate. Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by Harry E. Wiles American Legion Post #381. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 10:00 am Tuesday at the chapel. Memorials may be made to the family.
