Jeffrey Keith "Alfie" Waters

36, Abingdon, IL, formerly of Mulberry Grove, IL, died at 12:30 PM Saturday, May 3, 2008 at home. He was born December 24, 1971 in Vandalia, IL the son of Gary and Janis Hautt Waters. He is survived by his father, Gary Waters of Vandalia, his mother, Janis Waters of Witt, IL, a daughter, Morgan K. Waters of Abingdon, a son, Gavin Waters of Abingdon, and a brother, Gregory Lynn Waters of Witt, IL. Jeff grew up in Mulberry Grove and graduated from Mulberry Grove High School. After high school, he went to work for Hulcher's Service. He moved to Abingdon 7 years ago. He was a member of Mulberry Grove First Baptist Church. Funeral will be 1:00 PM Friday, May 9, 2008 in Mulberry Grove First Baptist Church. The Revs. Benjamin Potter and Dan Rush will officiate. Visitation will be 10 AM to the time of service on Friday at the church. Visitation locally will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday , May 7, 2008 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel. Burial will be in Mulberry Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com. Young Funeral Home, Mulberry Grove, is in charge of arrangements.
