49 of 310 E. Adams St. died at 8:57 am Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at home. He was born on October 5, 1957 in Pekin, IL to Ross and Vera Lutz Shults. He married Julie A. Goff on February 10, 1989 in Burlington, IA. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Jerry Lee (and Casey) Goff of Bushnell, Jon Paul (and Melinda) Goff of Knoxville; two daughters, Brandy K. Klaasen and Amanda Klaasen both of Macomb; four brothers, Jimmy (and Sherry) Shults, Danny (and Marsha) Shults, Jeff Shults and Josh (and Jalaine) Shults all of Rushville; one sister, Joy Feweks of Rushville; 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ethel Shults. He grew up in Pekin and later moved to Rushville where he attended schools. He received his GED diploma and later attended Black Hawk College in Moline where he studied auto mechanics. he worked as a mechanic for Martin Landscaping in Galesburg for twelve years and later was a self employed handyman. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved motorcycles, was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed bow hunting. He was a past member of the Galesburg chapter of A.B.A.T.E. Cremation was accorded. A memorial service will be 3:00 pm Sunday, February 18, 2007 at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel. Visitation will be one hour before the service on Sunday at the chapel.
