Kathleen "Kathy" Marie Hampton

45, 503 N. Jefferson St. died at 3:55 pm Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on August 18, 1963 to Elias and Mariann Shourek Ramirez. She married Richard Hampton on January 7, 1983. He survives. Kathleen is also survived by her parents, her children, Prentice (and Jenna), Anita, Andrew & JD: two grandchildren, Marcus and Tessa; her brothers, Elias (and Carol) Ramirez, Fred (and Sue) Ramirez and Frank (and Sherry) Ramirez; her sisters, Mae Rogers and Mariann Crouch. She graduated from Abingdon High School in 1981. She later worked at Derby Industries in Galesburg until her health failed. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am Thursday, November 6, 2008 at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday at the chapel. Memorials may be made to the family.
