Kathryn "Kate" Lucile Reese

89 of Galesburg and formerly of Abingdon died at 7:35 am Monday, February 7, 2005 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg. She was born on May 31, 1915 in Knox County to Ralph D. and Wave F. Ray Dredge. She married Clyde Burroughs on January 7, 1942. He preceded her in death in May of 1954. She later married Harvey Reese, Jr. on July 13, 1963. He survives. Also surviving are three stepsons, Steven Reese of Altona, Michael Reese of Galena and Duane Reese of Houston, TX; two stepdaughters, Connie Morris of Keosauqua, IA and Lynette Sneddon of Springfield, MO; several step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; a niece, Mary Sue Wolanin of Abingdon and a nephew, John (and Rosemary) Dredge of Galesburg; great nieces and great nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Mark W. Dredge. She had lived most of her life in Abingdon. She graduated from Abingdon High School in 1933 and later from Browné
