Kristin Boegen Obituary
Mrs. Kristin Leigh Boegen, 34, of Bloomington, Illinois, passed away peacefully at 9:39 a.m. Sunday May 15, 2022 at Carle Bromenn Medical Center in Bloomington.
She was born September 25, 1987 in Freeport, Illinois, the daughter of William and Susan (Jensen) Dehority. She married James Boegen August 14, 2010 in Oneida, Illinois.
Surviving is her husband James, her daughter Sophia at home, her parents, William and Susan of Oneida; a brother, Allen (and Mindy) Dehority of Marquette, Michigan, and a brother-in-law, Dalton Boegen of Bloomington. Also surviving are nieces, a nephew, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Kristin enjoyed making crafts, woodworking, working with vinyl and running. She was a 2006 graduate of ROWVA High School. Most of all she loved being a mother.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday May 23, 2022 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel. Pastor David Pyell and Rev. Linda Baldwin will officiate. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday May 22, 2022 at the Chapel. Cremation will follow the service. Memorial may be made to the family for an education fund for Sophia.
